The Adventures of Captain Marvel Serial Chapter01 (1941)

Although I never watched this show as a kid in the 60's/70's, I did watch similar serials on Chicago UHF stations. I found things to chuckle at, wonder about ("Ah, he's riding down a cable, played in reverse-I think..."). After watching the first 4, I'd have to say that I was adequately entertained, plus some. Specifically, the first one was a good introduction to the mythos; however, being a serial all of the episodes should be considered as one "movie". But, not wanting to be one who picks nits, I will rate this one episode 4/5.
