Loved every second of this. Television in the 40's, as I am sure in all the decades, had it's hits and misses, Dragnet had hit all over it, the acting, writing and cinematography are all great. Here, Friday and his men explore a murder of a secretary. A suspect is produced, is he the one whodunit? Only Careful sleuthing can figure it out! Nifty, hardly over the top, and bereft without any actiion, just blood and nails police work.

A TV show based on all sentence fragments and sudden stiff body movies, it's great. The script must read: "Pipe wrapped in paper." Nod your head once.

But no where near the quality of the radio shows. Good character actors, a few good plot devices and disruptive elements but few surprises.
