D.W. Griffith is heralded by past and present directors and film-makers as one of the greatest and innovative talents in motion picture history. Unlike a previous reviewer - this film is simple and charming. WE are here to review a film, not to spew hatred. I knew & worked with Miss Lillian Gish over 35 yrs., she knew Mr. Griffith and stated he was not a racist. I guess the previous reviewer felt like he was an expert. SAD. Mr. Griffith, we applaud you.
