"Thor..." is a simple, fun adventure film that doesn't get bogged down in too many dumb battle scenes. Some nice locations used with many truly attractive actors and actresses in the cast. It demonstrates that a matriarchy can be as unjust as a patriarchy. The lesson being that an aggressive leader usurping a peaceful head of state ultimately fails; sharing and balance in a society is what is healthiest. Genuone Adriatic locales are used to good effect, especially inside the mysterious Cave of the Oracle. A fine movie for young boys who may need some strong male, fatherly role models not seen…
