This is the 3rd of the 4 Aztec Mummy movies. K. Gordon Murray imported and dubbed the last 3 films Curse of the Aztec Mummy, Robot Vs the Aztec Mummy and the Wrestling Women Vs the Aztec Mummy. This is a good film to start with. It is made up of footage and scenes from the first 3 movies in the series. There is scenes of too much talking but also a lot of atmosphere and horror movie action.

This is the third and final film in the Aztec Mummy series. The mummy is called Popoca. The film Wrestling Women vs. The Aztec Mummy is the second in the Wrestling Women series and is not connected to this series. Its a different Aztec mummy in the wrestling women film and is intended as a sort of spoof of the Popoca series. Though the US dubbing obscures this.

I came into this knowing that it would be cheesy and bad. This review is of the movie as a so-bad-it's-good film, not a film to be enjoyed on its own merits. This movie sort of dragged on. The first half is an extended flashback to the first two films in the series, and the abbreviated nature of the story makes it sort of a drag to sit through. The new plot is sort of slow too. The best part of this film is the last 15 minutes, when Doctor Krupp (whose English voice actor is perfect) starts his rant and the robot shows up. This movie is sort of like the Aztec temple featured in it. Sure…

as universal mummy movies in its death throes, a regurgitation. a star for the title. in many movies of this genre, i've noticed the casting directors have a keen eye for the aesthetics of the actress's fanny, god bless'm, so in this case while the actress is no ariadne welter, she still has something to offer and the minimal screen time is unforgiveable. subtract star.
