Synopsis

We first meet Harry on the morning of his wedding day. He looks like he's been partying, but we know he's a sweet guy because he sleeps with a photo of his bride. Friends serenade Harry outside, but when he goes to the window to join in they douse him with water. As he prepares for his wedding, he looks in the mirror and it shatters. When the groom attempts to run to the church the ring slips out of his hand and is run over by a passing car. As anyone who has seen Harry's 1924 comedy HIS…

While, yes, this film shows some decomposition, and the source tape seems to have tracking issues,but Harry Langdon videos are fairly difficult to find. I appreciate being able to see this at all. If the film were in better shape, I might give it one more star. As it is, I still think it deserves three. Many people forget that back in the 1920's Langdon was nearly as popular as Keaton or Chaplin, before being relegated to the role of a gag writer for other peoples films for years.

I've seen funnier. The film has disintegrated so much; I don't know what happened between the wedding and the train ride.
