Synopsis
Singers Lucille and Johnny, whose radio show is sponsored by Oldsmobile, are invited to visit the Olds factory to see why the product is superior. While touring the plant, Johnny becomes concerned that another visitor is a Martian spy dedicated to subverting Earth's autonomy. Lucille and Johnny (who?), the famous singing spokesmen for Oldsmobile (they are?) accept a tour of the plant by their show's sponsor. While waiting for Lucille to do who knows what, Johnny meets an old friend, who is experimenting with a communicator into space! While his friend is away, Johnny picks up a broadcast from Mars about the impending takeover of Earth! The martians send over a representative to take notes. Actor in "Rocket engine" Buick TV commercial believes he has stumbled on a Martian plot to engage in espionage and sabotage on Earth. It's a blend of a Jam Handy-like industrial film with a tongue-in-cheek nod to "Radar Men from the Moon". Part one is hysterical at times, but then it turns into a bore.
