From Trees To Tribune is a film that starts off spectacularily and surprisingly then crashes HARD and limps to a very bizarre conclusion. Instead of just starting in the forest and watching tree hackers cut down trees, we start by seeing what the Tribune does to prepare the men who will be stuck out in the bush during the winter season when most of the trees get cut down, a profile of the town is then shown, and the ways the town passes the time. All of this is truly absorbing. THEN we go into the forest and watch the lumberjacks cut the trees down. Since this is being done in the wintertime…
