Excursion dans la Lune (1908)

I'm surprised no one has caught this but this movie is NOT a Trip to the Moon. I suspect this movie is actually Voyage Around A Star by Gaston Velle (Voyage autour d'une etoile, 1906). If someone can identify this movie that would be great. I suspect it is Voyage Around A Star because the two movies were often confused even in the 1900s.

You guys are obviously right. I am trying tp change the description but the Archive will not let me change it because it has been moved into silent films. sigh.

As stated below, this is not the film by Melies. This is : Excursion dans la Lune by Segundo de Chomon (1908) It is a copy of the Melies movie, a copy made by Pathé 6 years after ! It does have many of the key scenes of the original but poorly done. It is also much shorter.
