Synopsis
Vengeance of the Zombies is a 1972 Spanish horror film directed by León Klimovsky and starring Paul Naschy, Mirta Miller, Vic Winner and Aurora de Alba. The film was shot in July 1972, but was only theatrically released in Spain in June 1973. It was shown in Italy as La Vendetta dei Morti Viventi. The film was shown in Germany over the years under three different titles....Rebellion of the Living Dead, Invocation of the Devil and Blood Lust of the Zombies.

To answer another reviewer, the music was very intentional, as odd as it might sound now. It was intended to show how Now and With It the movie is. "This isn't just a horror film, it's a cool and groovy 70's film!" Lots to love for kitsch fans: - Gratuitous topless scenes - Terrible "zombie" make-up - Great 70's fashions - Beer can as a murder weapon - Gallons of fake blood - As mentioned, Far Out soundtrack I didn't really understand the story, but hey, that's not what it's really about, anyway. Enjoy!

It lives up to its title; lots of zombies. But the movie is not good enough for me to bookmark. The music is horrible. It tries too hard to be mod hip and it nearly made me abandon the movie. The best part of the music was near the end when the zombies died, and the music warped and warbled to silence as if the batteries in a boom box ran out of juice. The comedy of it made me laugh and it wasn't meant to be funny. I gave the movie more than one star because I've seen worse.

This film has to have the most inappropriate musical score of all time. It's like your watching a Paul Naschy horror film while listening to a 1970's CBS game show!

Beyond awful. Unwatchable. I found nothing entertaining or amusing about this complete and total piece of crap.
