Synopsis
Caxton has broken out of prison and Eddie has been sent to bring him in. Caxton is known by the polka dot band on his hat and Eddie has Soapy wear one like it. This gets Soapy arrested as soon as he rides into town but it leads Eddie to Varney and he realizes Varney will lead him to Caxton.

The Best thing about this movie are the bad guys played by stalwarts who knew how to be nasty: I. Stanford Jolley, Douglas Fowley, Forrest Mathews and others. Eddie Dean has a decent voice and sings some horrible songs - otherwise he is stiff with a range of emotional expression from A-B. Comedic actor Roscoe Ates is wasted trying to bring some humor to the movie. Peggy Wynne is this western's obligatory attractive woman - and she brings more fire to it than Dean, who turns her down at the end. He's got work to do. A few fist fights and a gunfight finale are not enough to rescue this sleeper.…
