Synopsis
It's 1860 and the old Spanish land grants are being surveyed. Montez is after part of Don Regas' rancho and gets the surveyor to alter the boundary. But Don Regas still has the original grant written on a bandanna. Montez sends Indians after it but Bill Cody and Gabby fight them off and a wounded Gabby unknowingly ends up with the missing million dollar deed wrapped around his arm for a bandage.

This Roy Rogers film made about mid-way through a "historical" period for him is not half-bad at all. While you could just have easily inserted any name in the title, Roy is a young, and maybe a little naive hero here. Said script could also have been written for anybody, just fill in the blank. This TV print is very good. Songs are at a minimum. The story moves along with lots of action and the usual plot twists until the big final shoot-out and fight and everything comes out right in the end. Pauline Moore is engaging as the leading lady and brings a certain "cool" verve to the affair.…
