Japanese "Le Samourai" type pulp fiction narrative with spaghetti western soundtrack · GH3K3 · 2026-06-28
The plot is simple; an anti-hero professional hit man and his sidekick assassin whack a yakuza boss on contract ordered by a rival yakuza gang. After a successful sniper hit, the assassin's escape is unexpectedly thwarted repeatedly when the rival yakuza gangs decide to consolidate power after the "old school" yakuza boss is dispensed with. Quentin Tarantino must have seen this one for sure. Three and a half stars.
