Betty Boop: She Wronged Him Right (1934)

This Seems to be a previous Cartoon becuse 1.The voice actress who is doing the voice is Bonnie Poe. 2. Betty is wearing her original outfit which is later toned down. I think Betty Boop's prize show follow's after this, although differences are is that Betty is wearing a masssive gown and is voiced by Mae Questel. Freddy appears in both, but he is a very annoying character. The evil villian in this cartoon resembles Dick Dastardly from Wacky Racers, although this villian was created far before Wacky racers so i guess they must have watched this somehow.

super, from beginning to end. I thought dogville was novel being shot on a theatre set....but Fleischer was doing it in the 30s. great characters...great touches...one of the better betties here

Very good, but not great. Yes, it starts twice - but otherwise seems to be all there. Cute send-up of the old poor widow whose mortgage is due and the mean landlord who will accept love for money. For a change Betty has a real man - not some dog-like character or what-have-you for her hero and love interest - Fearless Fred. Yes, Betty is wearing her pre-code skimpy dress, but as someone below pointed out, it was probably passed as being part of a theatrical production. Anyway, the Fleischers - kudos to them - got away with one here - and glad they did/Some nice sight gags .
