Very interesting slice of life, cinema veritae style. People wandering confused, frantically moving their possessions out of the house before it burns. And no firemen on the scene. Imagine the same scene today, an army of homeless desending on the poor citizens to make off with all their belongings. And no policemen to be found.

When one does the background history on the event..the same things applied then. “ Santa Ana “ wind conditions ( offshore ), dry grasses origin, shake shingle roofs, inadequate water supply.
