Synopsis
Born Innocent is a 1974 American made-for-television drama film which was first aired under the NBC World Premiere Movie umbrella on September 10, 1974. Highly publicized and controversial, Born Innocent was the highest-rated television movie to air in the United States in 1974. The movie deals with the physical, psychological and sexual abuse of a teenage girl, and included graphic content never before seen on American television.

I think It worth's watching. But not for fun or amusement. No big story, no extra-ordinary acting, no bold feature, but it still attracts the audience. I think it is because the scenario is realistic.

Linda Blair gives her best performance in this tv movie social drama..that shows the failures of The Juvenile Justice System..she plays a young girl..who runs away from home and in wrongly accused of bring unmanagebille.Hence, she is sent to a dentition school for troublesome young ladies.The truth is.her character of "Chris Parker"really leaves home to escape her abusive father and her drunken and thoughtless mother. The plot in minimal,but the performances by Ms.Blair,Ms.Hunter,Ms.McCleare and Mr.Jackele are brilliant.
