Synopsis
Living chick embryos and perspective drawings illustrate early development of the amnion, chorion, yolk sac, and allantois. Describes amnion contractions, yolk sac folds and blood vessels, yolk sac withdrawal, and later interrelationships among the four membranes, including chorioallantoic membrane formation.
