Synopsis
Articulatory movements are shown by X-ray techniques. Prepared scripts illustrate selected phonetic features in the phonemic contrasts of the language, ending with several sentences to show the features in running speech. Informants were selected for linguistic suitability and lack of physical characteristics that could interfere with X-ray quality and sound processing. From the X-Ray Film series
