MY RELATION WENT THERE - AS A CHILD - ALLEGEDLY. I KNEW THIS TO BE THE CASE THAT SHE'D GONE WALKABOUT IN LONDON... HAD PREMONITION AS I ALSO WALKED ABOUT A BIT THAT SHE'D BEEN WANDRIN' ABOUT BARBICAN AREA AS SOMEONE GOT ANGRY COS THEY COULDN'T LOCATE SOUTHBANK... SUCH WAS THAT NARCOLEPSY YOU INDUCED. PITY BRITAIN DOESN'T FEEL ITSELF WORTHY OF DOINGSOMETHING AKIN TO THIS AGAIN - HAVING ITS WORDLY FRIENDS PUT ON STALLS AND EXHIBIT ITS WARES AND/OR CULTURAL FORMATS... BEREFTOF JINGOISM IT'D BE COOL... THOUGH I DOUBT YOU COULD ACHIEVE THAT WITHOUT THOSE BUMBLING PATRIOTS.

A somewhat livelier, thank heavens!, snapshot of the London fair here. But once again, the filmmakers seem to focus on how educational, how you know, BRITISH the whole thing was, the first half doesnt go beyond the fair being one big museum exhibit. Hardly anyone is looking to be having fun, like it was one big government glorification (which it [probably was, come to think of it). Display after mind numbing display is shown. It's not til the final third when we realize that the British have some sort of fun in them as we go to the festival's midway! The fair is PACKED, which should speak…
