Synopsis
Footage recorded by Captain Irving in the year 1928; however the date of release with narration is May of 1980. He describes his journey around Cape Horn as a young man. The ship is called the Peaking and was a four-masted ship with thirty-two sails that stretch over an acre, and carrying five-thousand-three-hundred tons of cargo. The lady Peaking weighed three-thousand tons, for an estimation of eight-thousand tons for this voyage.
