Personally I found this film slow moving and without a well delineated plot, or defined characters. Speaking of plots the synopsis is incorrect in that it is not the doctors assistant who is stabbed with the infected knife but the assistant who stabs the Doctor with the knife thus rendering him a pseudo-vampire. He ( the assistant ) then kills himself in the Doctors bathroom where upon the Doctor picks up the phone ostensibly to call the police and then thinks better of it and begins to lap the assistant's blood from the floor.
