DAK TO - the 1st Brigade of the 101st Airborne was filmed June 20-25, 1966 during Operation Hawthorne. 101st Airborne civic action teams delivered food and clothing to Montagnard settlements. A helicopter lands in one of these villages and the goods are distributed. The tribal chief puts on a pair of overalls. A medical aid group also treats villagers. There are no doctors, so the villagers welcome the medics. Girls do a traditional Montagnard folk dance in gratitude. At Dak To on June 23, 1966 there is a victory celebration for the 101st.
