A teenage boy notices something happening on the street that curiously is described in the newest edition of his favorite comic book. Being an imaginative, eager wannabe young detective, he leads his friends (a bunch of working class boys & one girl) in crime fighting. It is conspicuously low-budget, but so was ‘The Third Man’. (This film is the first of the Ealing comedies.)
