Synopsis
Jason, a fearless sailor and explorer, returns to his home land of Thessaly after a long voyage to claim his rightful throne. He learns, however, that he must first find the magical Golden Fleece. To do so, he must embark on an epic quest fraught with fantastic monsters and terrible perils.

Epic retelling of ancient legend of valorous deeds and romance. The special effects by Harry Hausen are legendary in themselves. Todd Armstrong is almost too pretty for the role of Jason in comparison to his leading lady Nancy Kovack as Medea. Nigel Greene Hercules looks a little frail when compared with bodybuilding great Steve Reeves but is nonetheless captures the character well. This is definitely worth watching.

One of the first films to have realistic special effects, from sword fighting skeletons to giant Greek god statues that come to life, as realistic as modern SFX. Well presented and acted, everyone has seen this movie about the best Greek mythological story ever told. Portuguese subtitled, but they aren't annoying.
