I liked this rather dry boring film just for being so goddamned sensible.

Pretty straight forward film telling people who supervise cleaning onboard naval ships. This film is so straight forward that, of course, you begin to find little subtle subtextual messages. Most of that in this film has to deal with the very very close quarters the men share and the brief shirtless scenes. Best homo-textual scene: The head of the cleaning dept asks his assistant to go into the stalls with him oh its shocking! But theyre just there to check out the grime in there. Suuuuuure Thats what they ALL say.

A film for Naval medical officers about how to conduct inspections (in a general way), but more about how to deal with problems that come up. Emphasis is also placed on dealing with sailors' personal complaints, rather than simply telling them to suck it up. Not terribly interesting, nor funny.
