Well folks this here movie is worth its weight ib gold to the viewer. It has a little sumpin for every one. The racism in the past, and more specifically, revealed in its media, does not compare to the encouragement and promotion of racism in today's media. Just look at the hip-hop music that is loved by many blacks, that use the word,"n*gga" in much of it. If you look for it, it won't take long to find it. I enjoyed this film and like to watch old films in general. They're usually much more interesting and entertaining than the modern junk. As an aside, I am able to place them in their historical context. I find no need to apologize for enjoying them. Who knows? Those of the future, hopefully more enlightened than our generations, may watch our modern films and condemn our age for its shallowness, decadence, and sickening violence. In our ways, we of the modern world are just as barbaric and vile as any who have gone before. Any smug self-righteousness is delusional.
