Synopsis

Seems Americans think this was risqué for 1949, what they didn't show in the movie were the tableaus where women stood on stage completely naked - yes "front bottoms" and all! The one rule that the Lord Chamberlin strictly enforced was no movements whatsoever. The place would have been closed down if one of the girls had sneezed! This was why people like me visited and paid our 7/6 to sit through the rest of it. Several world famous comedians started there.
