Synopsis
A barber (Rudolph Valentino) in 1700s France blackmails a nobleman he caught cheating while gambling (Ian Mclaren) into introducing him in disguise as high society duke, in order to win the love of a high class lady (Bebe Daniels). The nobleman plots revenge on the barber through, without exposing his own role in the duplicity. This film was copyrighted in 1924 and is now public domain in the United States.
