Footage from February to April 1919, when Nestor Makhno's forces fought as part of the Red Army, taken from a longer Soviet newsreel. Lenin had the only copy sent to the Hungarian Soviet Republic; it was returned before that republic fell and later retrieved from Soviet archives.
