Synopsis
(1968) Shows the traditions and customs of middle-class Chinese life, with emphasis on the struggles of an American-educated Chinese man to support and educate his large family. Depicts the purchase of food and a family luncheon, the children of the family at play and at school, the delight of Chinese children in the visit of the monkey-man, the respect for elders, and a trthe Temple of Heaven.
