My goodness! I hoped one day to watch the surviving footage of this film and I absolutely loved it!! Starring Einar Hanson (1899-1927) in the title role with beautiful little Mary Johnson 💕, Pauline Brunius 🌺 as the mother of “Gunnar” and Stina Berg 🌸. The scene where “Gunnar” is dragged by the reindeer is incredible! The cinematography is superb, especially the close up shots of beautiful Mary, and the outdoor scenes with the reindeer. I can just imagine what the entire film must have been like when this film was first released. Thank You for uploading this treasure for all us silent film…
