Scary film about fallout. By about 1956 or so, it was realized that fallout was a far more widespread danger than initially assumed.

This covers a lot of the same ground as American Cities' Atomic Fallout Strategy, but it's more for individual laypeople. The technical details of dangers from nuclear fallout are explained, and tips for protecting yourself are offered. Most interesting is a part about handling packaged food that has been exposed to fallout. Plenty of 50s name brands abound. Actually, some of the information in this film is pretty interesting. Pretty straightforward film about qhat will happen when, yes, the big one hits. WeÃÂre talking nuclear war here folks, and the film clearly is doubletalking here, talking about radiation and fallout as two different things. Like donÃÂt worry about fallout! Just brush it off! And you can eat anything, just as long as itÃÂs wrapped! But radiation, thatÃÂs another thing.. It can penetrate brick walls. So, I have no idea where the filmmakers were going with this. It also doesnÃÂt help when everything is literally repeated twice to us, like we GET it, alright? And one piece of film repeats itself…
