Raiders of Old California is a 1957 American black-and-white Western film produced and directed by Albert C. Gannaway and starring Jim Davis, Arleen Whelan, and Faron Young. It was the final film appearance of Arleen Whelan, who retired from acting in 1957; she died on April 7, 1993.

Albert C. Gannaway beginning in 1955-56 was a very successful television producer, who produced (in color and with superior sound) the 30 minute filmed version of the weekly "Grand Ole Opry" and around the same time his production company hooked up with Republic Pictures for several well-made, well paced action westerns and other pictures. This could be the best of the lot. Faron Young and Jim Davis were the stars with a mini stock company behind them. Marty Robbins was featured as well. I only downloaded the film to see Young and Robbins (and of course, Van Cleef), and I didn't expect much from it. However, It was surprisingly good, I wasn't bored and story was really good for a B-western. It's not a great cinematic experience, but it's a good way to spend an hour. I enjoyed it, and would recommend to see it.
