Can we take a moment to admire the three gay people in 1975 who came out on camera on TV! You gonna have the guts to do that, even today; they could have been shunned by their families, fired from their jobs, or worse, not to mention that they probably had a ton of insults after the fact. Also, it's great that the filmmakers even acknowledged homosexuality! It was removed from the list of mental disorders just the year before. But they debunk that nonsense. Unfortunately, they didn't discuss trans people, but still a step in the right direction!
