Aerial spotting in "The Observer" piloted by Ed Durden in Santa Barbara Channel, looking for possible fish depletion as a result of July 28, 1969 oil spill. Observed were basking sharks, sea bass, pelicans, and sea elephants on San Miguel Island. Discusses DDT impact on anchovies and pelicans.
