An entertaining Balcon production released in the same year as Britain entered WWII, based on an Edgar Wallace story. At times this political thriller is pretty far fetched or wanders into comedy, but all in all it's watchable. It's fun to see Alan Napier, who played Bruce Wayne's trusted butler, taking on the role of the dastardly peacenik shill MP. (And possibly a fleeting cameo of Marjorie Westbury, but I'm not sure about that.)
