Synopsis

A riveting slow-burn tale of suspense that exemplifies just how far desperate people will go to be just a little bit less desperate. Economic, political, class and social commentary is punctuated throughout, much of which remains relevant today. Stunningly stark black and white photography highlights the bleak realities that the characters and the audience are forced to address.
