A wonderful short film that I first saw nearly 50 years ago. It was one of the films that began my love for film. Directed by Edouard Sechan, he was the cinematographer on the Red Balloon.

This is a 1959 French short film directed by Edmond Séchan. It won an Academy Award in 1960 for Best Short Subject. Don't be fooled by animal instincts. This charming little film is well worth the view. So sad that short films are not preserved that well.
