Synopsis
A dramatization of Bertolt Brecht's play of the same title, about a Jewish woman who is forced to leave her home, her country, and her Aryan husband after suffering a series of shattering experiences in Nazi Germany. She emerges, however, as a stronger individual who has learned to take responsibility for her thoughts and actions
