Synopsis
The World at War: 5--Barbarossa, June-December 1941 Russia's move into Romania brought her perilously close to Germany's only source of oil. Hitler's maneuvers include the signing of a pact with Russia and Japan, but his true ambition is revealed in the Russian campaign. Interviews with German soldiers who survived the campaign tell what it was like to have been sent out into Russia's 40-degree-below zero weather without winter clothing or proper equipment.
