Synopsis
The World at War: 6 -- Banzai! Japan 1931-1942, An elderly Japanese couple are shown going through the religious ritual they have performed daily for thirty years in expiation of the guilt of the seven souls of the seven war criminals hanged by the Allies. The study features an interview with Mitsuo Fuchida, leader of the Pearl Harbor attack, and the American Navy men.
