GREAT film here, even though it IS 30 + mins, about genetics. Scientist guy hosts a "round table" of normal folk asking questions about genes, DNA and other things scientists were tackling at this time. A lot of it they didn't know then (eg, cloning etc) and a lot they were just finding about (eg hybrid planting - this was a miracle find then). Never gets dull at all. The panel is cute (I REALLY liked the lady with the guy and her STUNNED look on her face throughout the film) and the scientist guy is entertaining as well. Almost the perfect science film.

Heredity and the mystery of life have haunted the humankind for generations. It's only in last 200 years that we have begun to unravel the beauty of this unfathomable investigation. This movie is a great primer in introducing genetics to a student of all ages.

We've come a long way since this video was made, but it's still entertaining and educational. The guy who played Robbie Douglas on 'My Three Sons' is one of the panel members. There's also a girl who looks like she could be the real-life sister of the guy who played Chip Douglas on that same show. Does anyone know if it's actually his sister? Sure looks like him!
