It took C.C. three separate laborious trips to the West Indies to realize this wasn't the East Indies, and that, instead, he had "discovered" a new land. A good film that rather broadly outlines, as good as can be expected, the Americas before people entered, and how they got here. Also outlines the history surrounding Columbus' reason for saling west. Made in 1965, when addressing the Crusades, they call them "moslems" ...just as I still pronounce it today.
