Voyage to the End of the Universe (1963)

I prefer the original title Ikaria XB-1. Smart, informed, science based cinema is meant to be seen on a huge screen in a dark place. Wow. Yes, it tends to amble, but even when ambling it is thoughtful and intelligent. Note the electronic soundtrack, quite song oriented and Zdenek Liska's name carries some weight as well.

To the edge of the unerverse is an overstatment it is only to alpha - centri however they get the ide of time in at the start wich is good and the speed of light none of the ships sytems are explained wich is another good thing considering these days would be toltaly old. Good acting but a bit strange somtimes. Worth at least one watch however slow in pacing.
