Synopsis
The fourth and last of the George A. Hirliman-produced films starring George O'Brien (preceded by "Daniel Boone", "Park Avenue Logger" and "Hollywood Cowboy") that were distributed by RKO Radio. Hirliman sold O'Brien's contract to RKO, which then produced 18 series westerns starring O'Brien that ended when O'Brien went into the Navy at the outbreak of WW II. O'Brien seemed a bit to nonchalant through it, but other than that it was well done. His seemingly muscle bound self seemed just out of place in the old films of its day. Most of the actors back then were pip squeaks playing tough guy roles and the punches they throw almost always look fakes, but the punch O'brien threw at the cook looked like he's been at it for a while. I don't know I would want to be slugged in the jaw by him and I kinda doubt the actor playing the cook wanted to many takes.
