This cartoon was made long before political correctness came about and as a result, is genuinely funny to the point of making my sides ache. This was my favorite cartoon as a child and it's good to see it available on the internet. An absolute masterpiece.

This is and has been a favorite of mine. Not a huge Woody fan but like the older ones like this by far the best. And this is a treat! Decent copy, great story and animation. Sit back and laugh!

Oh man, I remember having this on an old video tape when I was only 5 or 6 and watching it over 100 times. I haven't seen it in so many years so I'm glad it's in the public domain where everyone can enjoy it. Extremely funny and witty, my favourite part is where Woody is laughing at Death in the face.

i cant figure out why this is the only woody woodpecker cartoon thats pd,kind of like the one mighty mouse cartoon called wolf wolf.it is a good one though,kind of a take on the story about the grasshopper and the ant.
