Synopsis

An insurance company, led by a wealthy English family, organized an expedition to Africa to find a lost heiress who has been raised in the wild as Gungala and one of the explorers falls in love with her.

Although this was a crude film in many ways, I liked it. I was disappointed that it didn’t have the nudity that I was hoping for, but it was a mixture of so many things. I really was chuckling that the exploration group had mainly American deer rifles! The scenery and pictures of animals were very good. The 'jungle girl' was beautiful, but the girl they found in the canoe was extremely appealing to me. It was a sad ending, but the jungle girl had her animal friends to care for her.

Seeing the "naked" girl in the beginning she/they were only topless, the sex scene was as good as a manakin, guess it seemed shocking back then. I couldn't watch 1/2 because the green eye shadow kept putting me off.
