Synopsis
Green Acres is a spin off from The Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction, set in Hooterville and Pixley, Kentucky (fictional unincorporated areas of Lexington) ... with significant inspiration from Eldon, Missouri. It is the only series in the franchise to have every episode made in color, and was canceled with many other Situation Comedies in 1971. It was revisited later with a movie Return To Green Acres. In the Hooterville - Pixley area has a heritage rail line with a steam locomotive.…
