1956 field trip to Chicago by a railroad club, the Illini Railroad Club, a foggy day in Chicago and 8mm film so some is dark, but much is bright and interesting footage of streetcars in motion and at rest, moving streetscapes and storage rail yards; destination banners rolling, scrolling names of area destinations.

More rail fun as a group wanders into CHICAGO and ooh and ahh at the single bar electric trolley action they got going down there. Again, lots of scenes of trolleys going up and down, in the city and somewhat rural. We even get a route card changing demo. It's so exciting, one guy sticks his head right out the window to watch the cable bar do it's thing.
