Synopsis
The painfully true story of welterweight boxing champion Barney Ross is detailed in Monkey on My Back. Very good, yet dark, film for the time period. No gory scenes like you see today, but heavy themes of gambling problems, drug addiction and trying to hold a marriage together while going through extremely tough times. The story is about real life boxer Barney Ross, and his fall from the top to the gutter
